I got a call from the daycare a few weeks ago and poor Emery had gotten bit by another kid in her class. I guess he tried to bite one cheek and then she turned away, then he came around and got her again on the other cheek. It was pretty bad, really close to her eye too. We were afraid of it getting infected but we kept it really clean and it luckily healed up pretty good. It has been about 4 weeks now and she has a little scar that we are hoping will slowly go away. I felt so bad for her. To think that someone could hurt this little thing just breaks my heart.
But she kept her spirits up though.
She loved the pumpkin this year.
